Why Run?

When new ideas are scarce and spinelessness is a strategy;  the same old powers play the same old games - with our lives.  In times like these, inaction is the worst decision we can make.  As the rich get richer and our rights diminish, I am standing for office to speak truth to power, to fight for justice and fair play, and to stand against cruelty and ignorance.  Cowardice will not be rewarded forever and evil cannot be allowed to thrive.  We are stronger than they think, smarter than they know, and capable of correcting the course.  Silence is no longer an option.  The time to act is now.
